First cupcakes made a major comeback, and now folks are going nuts for donuts. Deco's E -rod shows us how this classic fave is getting a major makeover.

The donut isn't just a breakfast treat anymore. One of America's favorite goodies is going gourmet thanks to South Florida's Mandarin gourmet Donut Shoppe.

MICHELLE VAZQUEZ: "I worked in the downtown area for a very long time and there's no donut shoppe there and I thought, 'Wow, I would love to have a donut in the morning, very hard to find.' So I thought about maybe opening a place down there, but I wanted to do something a litte more unique."

Chances are you've never had donuts like this with fillings like marshmallow creme, guava and cheese, Oreo donut, and even lemon chamomile creme.

MICHELLE VAZQUEZ: "Great tang to it, absolutely delicious and you use real chamomile tea bags, that's right. So the next time I'm feeling overly stressed instead of going for a cup of tea, I should grab a chamomile tea donut. That's right."

And for some soflo flare, Michelle even created a flan donut.

MICHELLE VAZQUEZ: "I used my mother's recipe and I made a flan filling and I actually filled the donut with the flan and I've gotten very good responses with that."

You can dig in without the guilt because these sweet treats are made using the highest quality ingredients.

MICHELLE VAZQUEZ: "They are all made with zero grams trans fat, and I try and use organic products with just about everything I do, all of my dairy products that I use, milk, the butter, and such are all organic."

Big or small, they're a great centerpiece for any party, like these donut pops.
Or pack them up for door to door delivery. So after a full day of baking i hit the streets for some special deliveries.
